Snow in Denver??????

hey i live up here in Spokane, WA and i keep readin articles in the paper about there bein a ton of snow in Denver and the whole denver airport shutting down and all the roads being closed. I was jut wondering, are you guys having major powder days up at the colorado mts or are all the roads closed or is it normal lol. jus wondering cuz im kinda jealous. thx
 
i am not in CO but from what i have heard the only resort that got alot of snow was Winter Park. but the road going to it was indeed closed. but i am not sure
 
ya dude around 1600 flights outta denver got cancelled, my brother cant come home for christmas anymore, which im sure he doesnt care about
 
haha that sucks lol. i heard in the airport people were sleeping in cardboard boxes and all the restraunts in the airport were getting clogged
 
vail and breck etc... didnt get that much at all. Boulder got slammed, Denver got alot and my flight got moved back 4 days.
 
boulder where i live got absolutley slammed. i skied wednesday and thursday and shoveled the rest of thursday and all today.

there are solid 3 to 4 foot walls of snow all around our driveway.

even eldora had some crazy powder, if you know how shitty eldora is. eldora was sick.
 
my sister lives in golden, and she got 3 feet of snow. 3 fucking feet. She is skiing 2 feet of pow in winter park riht now.. so lucky
 
I got 3 ft in Denver...but in the mountains the southern mountains got a ton, Keystone got 12 inches, and from what I've heard Winter Park got quite a bit too
