Explain your schedule on a snow day (If you still are in school)

Mine is-

Wake up

Check if I have school

Go back to sleep

Go check out snow

Put on ski gear and sesh my setup

Go to friends house to sesh or hit up kicker

drink hot cocoa

sleep

wake up, ass hole parents make me go check to see if school is going on anyway, go ski until like 12, not go to school the next day.

My friends and i just go to the sliding hill and make a kicker, its sweet cause we're the only ones that go during snow storms

Tell parents my assumption the night before, dad checks website early in the morn, sleep til 12ish, wake up, healthy breakfast of Pop-Tarts/sugary cereal, get mom to drive me, ski until last lift, get home at 10ish, sleep like I'm in a coma.

Mine when I was in school was get up, look at the glorious snow we receive twice a winter and go to school because we never had enough to get a fucking snow day.

i usually stumble downstairs to check the news, see i have no school, sleep for another hour. get up and get ready to shred all day!

ON A POW DAY?!?!

Your doing it wrong bro, when I was in high school, on snowdays I would be up usually a little after six a.m., checking as soon as possible to see whether there was school or not. After school cancelation was affirmed I would wake up my brother, and then we would go shovel the driveway, (My dad wouldn't drive us unless we shoveled first.) And then we would annoy my parents until they drove us to the hill, usually getting there before first chair.

Now I'm in college and they pretty much never cancel school, so no more snowdays :(. But on the plus side, I have a car now so I can just go whenever.

Utah never gets snowdays. If our city shuts down, we lose a ton of money. School always goes on.

But normal school schedule:

Go to 1st period

Go to 2nd period and fantasize about skiing

eat lunch

leave and go skiing

check in with teacher at the top of PayDay (or call if upper mtn)

continue skiing

check out with teacher (or call if upper mtn)

continue skiing

Yeah I get class credit for skiing. I'm like a pro or something.

This. However, if I were to get a big snow day and have my classes canceled for the day it would be.

10 A.M. Wake up at

10:02 A.M. Check email find out classes canceled

10:03 A.M. Be really happy :)

10:05-10:30 A.M. Normal morning routine

10:31 A.M. Go get Breakfeast

11:00 A.M. Go back to dorm, put ski gear on

11:10 A.M. Fill backpack with water bottles and food. Retrieve shovel and skis from closet.

I Normally wake up at 6ish, My parents call for me to get up at 6:15ish. When I get up I first check my skylight. If it's blank white I will move on to the window behind my bed. If I can see what looks like 5-6 inches I attempt to open my door from my bed and look out the loft windows and off into the valley, seeing how coated the trees down where the school are.

After all that I just don't give a fuck and stay in bed until my parents make me get up. If they don't by 6:45 then I automatically assume it's a snowday, get up, browse the internet for a few minutes then go outside and have a good time.

11:11 A.M. Go to giant hill at back of college

11:20 A.M. Take PVC pipes out from hidden stashes and commence building awesome features :)

12 hours later go to bed and hopefully do it again tomorrow

wake up

check if snow

check if school

>no school

fucking splooge all over tv

tell my bitch ass mom im going skiing

get ready

bitch ass mom drives me to mountain

ski like fuck

wake up at 4ish

take 4 hours to get to taos due to icy roads the whole way (150 miles of icy roads)

assuming a gaper texan doesn't run me off the road, ski the stuff thats gets tracked out first (non hike to)

rest of the day lap the ridge

beg parents to let me skip school the next day

stay at cabin

next day ski all the stashes

back when i had snow days, a snow day meant 1-2" and a shit ton of black ice, making roads too dangerous for buses... not enough typically for shredding so... wake up

check school cancelation

sleep

tv

wish for more snow

tv sleep

Usually it was:

-Snow day!

-Wait I'm in new jersey...

-All the snow (ice and slush) is gone by the afternoon and it's warm out, but too wet to skate.

-Fuck...

But occasionally:

-Snow day!

-It actually snowed!!!

-Go to mountain creek, or go to local sled hill and get weird looks from my classmates because I'm skiing on a sled hill.

Now it's like probably like

-Snow day!

-College.

-Chemistry homework...

I've never actually had a day where they canceled class due to snow yet.

Coming from California, we don't know what snow days are. WSU (where I currently attend school) has cancelled class five times throughout school history.
