Our towns ski club is planning a trip to odgen where we will spend 3 days skiing either snow bowl or powder basin. Im thinking about going. What are these mountains like? I see one has cat skiing. Worth it?

Pretty sure you're thinking of Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. Can't say I know jack about either one, but it might help to have the names right when you're researching them.

Powder Mountain is a dope huge collection of gullies and bowls, snowbasin has some sweet steeper terrain and some gnarly hike to stuff

When? Because just like anywhere, both these places suck with no snow? And currently, thats the case and not getting any better anytime soon.

Shadow can tell you all about them. He's never been, but knows all about it.

Both of them are my home mountain. Snowbasin is steeper and has better terrain, Powder has better snow. Powder generally gets more snow, but is less steep. Powder is more laid back and has older lifts. Snowbasin is more corporate and has nicer facilities and lifts.
