SNOW AND ROCK: Boots/Binding help

I know it would be best to just ring them, but I already have once and I don't wanna sound like a penny-pincher... BUT, my Mum wants to know if they will mount bindings for free if we buy boots from there?

I was also wondering how good their selection of boots were and if they're a good service?

And i presume that as they're a decent shop, they'll have the right jig for griffons?

Thanks for any help and obviously +K for any helpful responses

Generally most shops will only mount binding for free if you purchase skis from them. But it won't hurt to ask them.

As far as I'm aware, Snow and Rock carry Salomon, Atomic, Fischer, Rossignol, Lange, Dynafit and other boot manufactures.

They will have a jig for your Griffons. Most shops like Snow and Rock will have a jig for the majority of all major binding companies.

Generally they'll mount them for free if you bought the BINDINGS from them. Although if you've been spending a lot with them and as you're getting new boots they might.

Bought AR7's and griffons from Freeze, but boots will be 250+ so we might be able to... To be honest, it's neither here nor there, but it's my mum being cheapy... I'm sure shell negotiate some shit, thanks you two +k

And the jig question was precautionary, don't wanna waste a journey, I assumed they would though... And I guess "the boots pick you" so the selection was just a stupid question

so i work at the exeter branch of snow and rock, haven't met any of the guys up at bristol, but yeah as mentioned earlier, unless we are super quite we tend to only mount bindings for free if you've bought the skis (or bindings) from us. especially now that it is getting busy with winter, chances are any of us tech guys dont have the time to just do it for free...

Thanks for the input, however I've already bought boots (Saloman CS120... i think, orangey white-colour?). They did mount them for free, possibly because the boots were reasonably expensive (£300) and they were only Griffons, which are quick to mount... +K anyway

I got my boots in the snow rock london and they had decent selection, great customer service and fine prices so if that is what you want then go for it. idk about the bindings tho

Yeah man, glad Kevin the tech in Bristol sorted you out he's a sound bloke! If anyone needs servicing work done in Surrey I'm the ski tech at the Chertsey branch of Snow and Rock, 100% off newschoolers discount!

I'm working in the Gateshead branch of Snow and Rock (bootfitter, training as ski tech, general do everything kid). Nice to know there are other guys from S+R on here!

Visited RWND in the Chertsey store and he sorted me out massively with a full service and I managed to grab an absolute steal on some Foursquare pants for £28, 80% off.
