Snow alert icon

I was thinking about traveling at last minute and then realized how cool and useful it would be to have an icon on ns that says where and when is the next big snowstorm. A snow alert icon that would get everyone so stoaked about it. Then maybe you could add a place where you could post the photos you took during the storm and everything! Is there something like this existing already? If yes please tell me! If no it would be a great add-on, especially with the new front page beta it could maybe be something to add?

I'm just sharing my toughts what do you guys think about this?

I really like this idea. Not the whole world though, just the US and Canada. There arent enough NSers elsewhere and a whole world map would be huge or tiny and hard to differentiate areas

yeah Bishop said somehwere that like 80% of NS are American, 15% are Canadian and the other 5% are the rest of the world.

There are so many apps and weather sites dedicated solely to this purpose. Use those instead, it'll be a lot easier.
