Just got some kincos, what snoseal should i get? And is it really that necessary or could i get away with a couple days riding them unsealed

I.d ski a few days in them if you need but the sooner you seal them up the better.

I'd go to the hardware store and get a can of Sno-Seal. once you have one you should never have to make that purchase again for the rest of your life. I'd also do multiple coatings to really get them sealed up nice. One coat usually leaves a bit to be desired.

Also be sure to heat them up a pit to open up the pores in the material to allow for better absorption.

I set my over to preheat to the lowest temp possible. Toss the gloves in and let them be in there for about 10mins. When they are just about too hot to handle, pull em out of the oven and lather that snow seal on and rub it in. Repeat the snowseal process again after the first coat is all rubbed in.

FYI ovens vary, so keep an eye on them. I forgot once about a set and my apt smelled like burnt leather for a week.

thanks man!

They don't need much heat, like 40-60c max for a couple of mins and the snowseal should melt in like butter into warm toast. (now I want toast).
