Any thing new being put in the park this year?

and yeah a staircase would be rad, thats just what one of the park guys told me last year when i was up there, he said they had already started building it. but i dunno what else, im gonna guess an s box maybe..

^^not a false rumor about the staircase, i talked to krush at the jam and he said they already built a staircase that they are going to (when areas of high pressure approach) put up. it doesnt have a handrail built into it, but theres a few different 10 stair section that they will put together and sit next to the handrail, possibly other things as well. they also built a new gigantic box, if anybody saw the new timberline box they built this summer, it should be very similar to that, just a bit bigger. and that box was pretty damn big. apparently you can fit a CAT under this new box. for thos who dont know what im talking about, its a giant rainbow box with 2 banked c's on either side...like the former high north rasta box but with 2 c's on either side and alot bigger...

ok i was at this snowboard movie, ya it sucked, but i talked to this guy who works up at snoqualmie. He showed me some pics of this rainbow box call the toll bridge. Its kinda hard to explain but at the beggining its wide and at the top its gets skinny in the middle and wider as it goes down. Thers also angled boxes on both sides. Theres a whole going through it just like a bridge and its about 8 feet tall. Pretty crazy ham n cheese

thers a guy that my aunt knows who predicts upcoming weather for a living, and he's been working on a project for a few months now that concluded at: 140% snowfall in november, and 120% snowfall in december. (the percent is of an average season, not last season)....that would be cool if it turned out that way, but only time will tell

those numbers make NO sense to me, 140%? what? what the hell does that mean? 140% more snow at that time then we would have in a normal season? In a normal season we'd have no snow in november, so 140% of nothing is still nothing. Late late november is when it starts.

i'm the prophet you're after, I always guess it right, but I'm not guessing yet, its too early.

if i remember correctly, on a normal season it starts snowing somewhere between november 1st and november 15th, considering it normally opens november 25th.....and yes, 140% more snowfall than average

ok, mark my words, just had a revelation so here we go, partial prophecy..................

We will get "teased" with snow throughout late november, just dustings, not much accumulation. We won't be opening until mid-december, but we will get some really big dumps then and have a pretty good season into late spring.

Mid-december is great, gives you plenty of time to wake up those tired muscles. Its been SOOO long since we've opened before thanksgiving. It used to always be mid-november when we opened, what happened to that?

my prediction is lots of little flurries in november with small amounts of accumulations and then a big dump near trhe end of November and the season will open early december.
