Snoqualmie closing?

Since not many people are buying lift tickets anymore as spring is coming around, I believe snoqualmie is closing their hours of operations and leaving a small amount of days for the season pass holders. Now the same company that owns snoqualmie i'm pretty sure also owns crystal. crystal is having a spring pass, but i think it's so they can get more money because they aren't getting as much from snoqualmie anymore. Someone correct me if i'm wrong but i am really disappointed that snoqualmie is limiting their hours of operation when they are getting hit with a ton of snow. it just doesn't seem right to close the mountain this soon. I've heard they will stay "open" until may 1st but it's closed all this week and next week sooo...is there anything we can do?

Its not about weather they have the snow, its weather or not they are making money...and they arent, so why stay open on week days and just loose money when they can only open on weekends and not loose AS much money as they would have if they stayed open all week.

not really. their permit only allows them to operate for a certain amount of time i think. and baril has it right, theres a reason they are operating weekends only with a 200 inch base at the top of alpy

Thanks, I work there, so I know this. But I was generally speaking for how upset everyone is Stevens is closing. Even though it is still snowing.

the website/facebook says that its closing tomorrow and there will not be a hike park afterwards?

who is gonna be up there tomorrow?

and would anybody be interested in bringing a few pvc rails up afterwards?
