Snoqualmie 2013-2014

the stoke is high!

I can't wait to explore Alpy and do some more GTS'ing. I have a car now so I'm planning on way more days

YUPPP, so stoked for this season, should be getting a pass to stevens as well. Hoping the park is on point this year

trying to decide on a pass to stevens or just day by day and go to snowqualmie. its an hour and a half away unlike the 2.5-3 to stevens..

I'm from there originally. Glad I'm in Seattle now though. Way closer to the good skiing.

im about to buy a pass because its close enough i can easily get up anyday of the week i want. I'll probly head to stevens for pow days on weekends tho

I assume there's a few skiers from CWU that ski here since it's fairly close. Central is a college I'm looking at and the fact that it's close to a hill makes it enticing. I know homies that ski here a lot. But speaking in comparison to Stevens, how does this hill hold up? Snowfall, powder, terrain, backcountry, etc. I know their park is solid so not too much detail is needed. Also, how's the commmunity?

Alpental has an insane bc. So much terrain with such easy access, just a long traverse to anywhere you wanna drop. As for the community, I think snoqualmie is a really cool place to shred. Everyone knows everyone and you can always find someone to ski with any time of the day.

Hello,

I find myself very excited in anticipation of the upcoming ski season (ski-son?) at Alpental/Snoqulamie!

who wants to drive me up to central mon - fri after 3. and sat and sun all day. will throw up 6$ for gas pm me our txt me at 2069201365

I understand choosing a school based on mountain proximity but unless your favorite activities outside of skiing are rodeos and fishing, I have no idea why you'd choose central. sounds like I perfect way to ensure boredom most months out of the year.

Getting lots of college girls too poor and dirty to afford birth control is not what I would call boring~

or rock climbing or somekiller downhill mountain biking or wakeboarding with one of the best teams in the nation or hitting up the high dive at the pool or the mediocre, ok shitty, skatepark in town or bar hopping or jesus christ people are so ignorant. oh yeah there's great fishing and a rodeo once a year. heehaw

Should be a great year, I'm stoked. Anybody in here shred central a lot and is willing to meet up sometimes? I'm in need of some ski buddies this season.

I'll be home from denver for 7 weeks starting next weekend. I'll be driving up most weekdays and weekends. Im assuming i'll have a pretty empty car on most weekdays.

If you want rides up send me a message. Im in bellevue but only 10 minutes from the UW.

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous if you ask me. You pay all that money to ski around in a huge group and talk about terrain selection. I think you can progress way faster just hot lappin with a couple buddies.

Snoqualmie is hilarious. You can get basically the same thing at White Pass for $650 per YEAR. Except you also learn how to ski bumps and some park.

anyone down to bring up a bunch of pvc on saturday/ see if we can hit the parknado setup? I dont wanna pay for a stevens pass.

lets go on saturday anyways? Its really odd that they would have one day dedicated to snowboarding and one day for both.

That's qualmie for you...

I might go one of the two days and shoot photos, depending on a bunch of factors
