Snoqualmie 10-11

My god the park was death. But east was awesome bombing groomers switch and kickers on catracks ftw

Alpental was pretty nice last night. Definitely more snow then how it's been in January. Some powder stashes here and there and a few drops and cliffs around the runs.

I will be in the park tomorrow and at alpental on saturday, shredding on my lonesome. Skiing on old green big troubles, tan orage jacket at grey sessions pants (so basically look for the guy who blends in with everyone else). Holler at me (zack) if you want to do some laps or smoke a spliff.

went up to alpental with a friend (non nser) today and was able to find some pow stashes mixed in with lots of ice.

plus its snowing again!

finally snow! best day of powder this year hiking around stevens, but guys, if there is any chance of big jumps this season theyll be up tomorrow or at least later this week. i LoVe snow.

hey im gonna be skiing for the third time tomorrow, i usally snowboard, and wonderin if anyone sees me around if they ould give me some tips on skiing in the park, i got a hybrid saga jacket

If you just ride around in your saga standing like you have a dildo jammed up your ass people will assume you are a pro. Rule #1 of park skiing~

yee, im just trying to ski in park, cause its funner than snowboading in the park. so just wondering if people could help me out

If you want to look "good" in the park, just learn to throw down a backie. You don't have to be good to do them, just a little bit ballsy.
All the old farts on the lift will hoot and hollar when you huck one, and any little hot birdies watching will throw themselves at you and ask you to make out with them. Trust me, as an expert backflip hucker, i know from experience.

Eastbound I90 is open now, Westbound is still closed. Road looks to be in decent shape considering the snowfall. Tomorrow morning shouldn't really be much different I imagine.

yah it was crazy deep and an absolute madhouse. especially everyone bombing, leap-frogging, and punching through to get to the cliff under Armstrong. i was like 10th chair up though which was cool

Tons of fucking people, and long lift lines, but it was fucking deep. Good times today, I am sure I saw many of you up there.

two bits of good news. obviously they are getting dumped on right now. and also they built a big step up at the top of the park, and for the first time in 2 years we have a halfpipe again haha...so once it stops snowing the park is gunna be off the chain.

unfortunately i have pneumonia and cant ski park or pow so thats awesome.

I don't think theres a Pipe this year, less you mean the pile of snow in Green Horn but I havent been up in a couple days soo la de da

Tonight was hella fun, that step up at the top is truly a giant pile of snow... And you have to straitline from the lift to be able o clear it

Well, Plake tearing up the slopes at East was certainly a surprise, even if it was briefly mentioned on the summit's snow report this morning.
