anyone know whats the deal with comps, calabogie is supposed to have a big air on the 17th, can i get conformation stewart? anything else. any huck and chucks this year? those were good.....

just got back from the hill, and was talkin to ryan olar about the competition. there will be a rail competition at calabogie peaks on jan 17. the comp will be on two of our new rails. 30min sessions on each and the average of your best run on each rail counts as ur score. i will give more details next week.

SWEET IM GOING to the rail comp

the rail comp will be on 2 of our new rails. there will be 1 half hour session on each rail for all riders. best hit on each rail will be averaged for the riders score. we will set up the rails a day or two before so if anyone wants to give em a try before the comp they will be there.

What are the specs of the 2 rails that will be in the comp

the specs for the new rails are:

10flat 10 down 10 flat

8 down 8 flat 12 down

20ft flat

8 up 10 accross and 8 down

10 flat 20 down

we haven't decided which ones to use for the comp, and plus what fun would a rail comp be if everyone knew which rails the comp would be on.

we are gonna put them up a day or two before the comp.

there is lots of prizes sponsored by: Burton, Rossignol, Atomic, Tommy and Lefebvre, Riders Village, Kunstadt Sports, United Riders Co and Scott. we got about 1000$ in product from each company to give out as prizes, so after ryan olar and i take out all the cool stuff we want we'll deligate what prizes go for what placeings.

well calabogie is having there slopecomp commming up in march, the date hasnt been chosen yet, if you like snowboarding there is the Forum Youngblood comp comming to calabogie on march 10 i beleive, just if you have good snowboarder friends give them a shout, im sure some would also like to watch that...... tremblant usually has stuff going on in march and the spin syposium (sp) thing that has some comps, there is an oakley rail jam i beleive, other then that i have nothin......
