all the skating i’ve done has been in them but that skating is made up of doing ollies in grass. also don’t have a board anymore bc i needed bearings for a school project and they were expensive at the hardwear store

I don't wear shoes because it's not natural. For millions of years humans didn't wear shoes. Only until recently did we wear them. I feel more connected to Gaia when I'm prancing across the forest floor. I feel her presence as I tread the rocky paths. I absorb the nutrients of the ground directly through my feet. They are burly and strong. Gaia is pleased with my feet. They get angry with me when I go into stores barefoot. They complain that my feet stink. But they know nothing. The whole premise of activity specific shoes in mountain biking has eluded me. Skate shoes work fantastically, particularly SB Highs for bike parks. My $.02. Sure it trashes the shoe but everyone loves it, me the most.
