Forgot to put in some words but yea I've noticed that the sneaker community has kinda fallen off with people rocking boat shoes in the winter and sb's having completely turned to shit but I was wondering if anyone still collects sneakers. Thats my collection plus I'm pumped to get these shipped shortly...

They're not boat shoes, they're moccasins/slippers. I have a pair, and I have a pair of Elements, and then Jordans.

Considering I have two broken feet and all my shoes are downstairs. I can't get a real pic of them for now. I've been wearing nike dunks high tops since high school so I have 4 or so pairs of those. One per year usually.

Two have suede material and look more like boots. The other is black. And my first pair look liked a boot as well without the suede.

Not a waste of money, sneakers hold their value if you treat em well and I enjoy having them, if anything its like a saving, if I ever need money I can sell off my collection (the valuable ones) and I'll have cash but I'm not really concerned about that. And what more important shit would you spend the money on...alcohol, weed, xbox games, jiberish?

& those are all Nike. I would never wear a sneaker thats not Nike.

i had like a 6 month spree 2 years ago where i was crazy about buying

shoes. since then i've kind of gotten over it but here's what i've come

up with over the past few years. I had a few other pairs but i left

them at home when I moved, or got rid of them

I like to keep up with the sneaker game, especially sb's...I've got 5 pairs now, which isn't much because i'm broke, but I know a shit ton about them. Also, sb hasn't turned to shit. Lately, their stuff hasn't been as good, but there are some great things releasing in the future, such as the neon j-packs scheduled for february...they are sick

For some reason my mom keeps buying me these weird black sneakers. I don't understand why I need so many, but it all made sense when I was mugged in the park and had them stolen off my feet :(

Tall T Dan's are super sick, no idea what brand they are though but the reflective material is so tight.

I just own two pairs of vans and a pair of nike trainers for working out, nothing special.

not if you keep them in good condition or deadstock they go up in value

no general release over the past 4-5 years will ever go over double retail because of how much they release. ive owned pairs from 97'-98' that have already capped at their market value.

plus who the fuck would buy shoes and not wear them and 'watch them as they go up in value'

what type of sneaker head spends all his money on general releases. I just bought a pair of sock darts for 150 CAD, hypebeast.com sells them for 300 USD. Sock darts arnt even that exclusive either.

not saying that i would ever do that im just saying it is much harder to flip sneakers and make money than it was a few years ago.

now the only place where ridiculous resale value are like yeezy boosts ans stuff like that thats super limited
