yea seriously?! rising sun? clouds? EP rip-off a bit? Come on lets get a little more creative here.
 
The Chetler's graphic is a cross between this year's EP Pro and SFB base graphics. Like, uncannily so.

 
There ARE the Pollard clouds since Benchetler is part of Nimbus

the sun is because Chris loves Japan maybe it looks a bit like the Bacons' base but I mean who cares
 
bentchetlers are looking dope. atomic has got a sick line for next year.
and im going to guess chris benchetler did the artwork
 
I talked to chris and he did do the artwork on his skis.
the access was about 100 underfoot, maybe a bit less. rockered in the tip, trad the rest.
 
shorties boards a bit? I think that was the company.
don't act like you were the first ones to use the rising sun graphic. Its nothing new to board sports. It has been done countless times, and it will be done countless more times.
 
It is not true that pollard did the work as chetler is an excellent artist himself and did all the designs on his skis this year and next year, but they are good friends and they often share ideas and have similar pieces of work, but chetler just liked what he saw with pollard and pollard has built a good rep so why wouldnt ppl want to buy skis with similar artwork on it? but they look dope.
 
ya i could see pollard doing artwork for benchetler i mean they are great friends and all.....

but nevertheless that looks like a solid line for '11
 
access is a new ski, all mountain twin with slight tip rocker, 87 underfoot i believe with the hybrid stepdown sidewall jumpoff that you see on the bent chetler, etc etc. moderately stiff flex, seems like a killer ski.

i want to see more distinction between the freestyle and freeride lines from stomic, its all bluring together and getting a bit convoluted. the stuff looks unbelievably sick in person, im astonished how much they stepped their game up this year. atomic and k2 are smashing things in the mouth this coming season, huge shakeup of the twin market is about to happen.
 
for sure man, sounds good. do you know if they are going to change the chetlers at all? what the bases look like on them? and does anyone know what the fuck the coax is? thanks for all the insiders with info, gatta love ns.
 
no change to the bentchetlers, only the graphics. the base is still the tie-dye design. the coax is an awesome twin tip, trad camber all mountain ski. it skis awesome, loves going fast and carves like a gs on the hard pack
 
any chance you can get pics of bases of the chets??

next years is sick but i think i like this years better hmmm.. can't decide lol
 
Actually the atomic line up is similar to the armada line up because they are made in the same factory and have access to the armada patents. eg. the bent chetlers and the jj's are similar.
 
could simply be that they have similar designs because they were designed for the same type of thing.

coincidence does exist. many skis share similar features, but that doesnt mean that they took them from another ski's design.
 
The bases are still the same good ol tye dye the only difference is the atomic logo on the base at the front which is a little different from this years
 
i think the benchetler top sheets arent as cool as this years but the base is way sicker but it doesnt matter what they look like it is the best ski in the world to skiso versatile and fun
 
yo dood, i live in calgary too!! are u going to sunshine this weekend? if so I would like to get one of them catalogues and maybe shred with you!
 
i skied the access, lots of fun. i think its a pop rocker or something (camber underfoot, early rise?) but had a blast ripping through the mount snow park for a couple laps. reeeeal stable.
 
I doubt Ill be going to sunshine this weekend due to my tuesday exam and unfortunately I do not have a paper copy. Its a pdf. file so if you give me your email address ill send it your way
