Snaping afterbangs?

Does any one actually read the comments or do they just skip right over?

THEY ARE NOT MINE.

And even if they were mine, why would you lie about a warrenty? Maybe if they were like 600 bucks or something but for something thats 400 talk to your shop and they might hook you up with a good deal for feeling bad anyways.

Andy and Will said they don't ride the Afterbangs because they prefer a stiffer rail ski, hence both of them riding Chronic Crytonites. Allen Lam has ridden Afterbangs for a whole season and he has not snapped his. Ian Compton skied the crap out of his all season until he finally broke his on a crazy angle of impact fall at Windells doing a blind 450 out. The reality is: All skis break, but people only make a huge deal about it when they are afterbangs that break because they are supposedly "indestructible". No ski is indestructible. I love my afterbangs and they will more likely then not stay in one piece and not break this season.

you have the same bias as flashkick for bangs. theyre new technology they are relatively stiff and chronics are way more proven

HAHAHAHA, this kid was at snowvalley yesterday and they had to close the rail cause they couldnt get the tip of the ski out from inside of the rail. I laughed so hard when i was talking to my buddy who was is one of the park techs at that hill. The kid told ski patrol that he was trying to hit the rail "urban style" and got his ski lodged in the rail and ended up snapping it off.. hahahah

i must say once i saw the snapping afterbangs i saw it coming after the skateboard design. reminds me of watchin my older bro snap his boards all the time. sorry dude. WARRANTY

I mean no hate, I'm just trying to defend myself - and quite frankly my ski of choice right now.
I do have some bias, I agree - but he doesn't (unless the bias you speak of is that he owns a pair - which is lame, because I saw at least 20 pairs yesterday, A LOT of people own this ski).
As far as your stiffness statement - it's false, I've skied Chronics, Anthems, and Afterbangs, and they all are VERY different in flex, the Anthem is the softest by far, the Chronics are the Stiffest by far, but the Afterbangs are closer to the Anthems in stiffness than they are to the Chronics - they are pretty soft. Yes, Anthems and Chronics are more proven - but if we don't try the ski then how will it get proven. You can't talk everyone out of getting this ski because then it never gets the test that you want - some people are willing to take a risk with their skis sometimes, and if they do, yeah, they might break, but they might also be the best ski they every rode - you never know. Sometimes, you just gotta risk it...

Thats why i got the anthems this year, I'd rather see how the Anthem holds up after the first relese of it and get it later years once they perfect it

no they would be able to tell that was snaped on a rail and line does not cover rail brakes you think that would have happend if you were just skiing along don't think so.

afterbangs are far from stiff. They are not noodles in the sense that they have great response and pop back when you flex them, but they are by no means stiff.
