Smuggs in later dec/early jan

Hey guys, Im headed to smuggs on the 29th through new years and I was wondering if I should expect a lot of the glades and more gnarly terrain to be open. Ive been up to northern vermont before but only ever in march when the snowpack was bigger. Id be sick to get on black hole and upper liftline along with just exploring the glades up there.

The 29th is 15 days from now. I'd advise checking a weather report and seeing if it says it is going to snow, and if so, how much. I'm assuming you can do that on your own, but if you need help figuring it out, i'm glad to lend a hand.
 
I checked their website.... but it still isnt pealk season and we r gonna get more snow. I was just wondering if they are normally open that time of year.
 
Depends on the year. But don't be surprised if the whole mountain isn't open and the trees don't have great coverage
 
it should be better than average for this time of year, but even when there's a ton of snow, the glades and bc zones off the top of mansfield get tracked out really fast.
 
anyone been there recently? going up this weekend too and really hoping glades will be open or it might be a waste for me
