If you smoke weed enough to get you stoned within 24 hours of surgery it screws with your brain and can cause your body to reject the anesthetic after a short time so you will get less and less out of it. So dont smoke around your opp if you want it to go well.

I smoked the night before my surgery this week and have felt like shit since. Obviously I can't and won't draw any correlations between the two, but I wouldn't recommend doing it within a couple days. Basically, if you think you need to ask NS, don't do it.
