Smith Maze Question

I dont know if I'm just slow or what. But I cant figure out how to remove the goggle lock on the back of my smith maze helmet that i just got today.
 
Hey I also have a Smith Maze helmet and I just pulled my Goggle lock out with a bit for force it still goes back into place perfectly fine. Not sure if that is to proper way to do it but it hasn't damaged the helmet at all. There is no way to push it out from the inside as far as I can tell.
