Smith IO/7 with Giro Combyn?

I got a gift card to dicks sporting goods but they don't have the smith maze, only the combyn. Anyone rock io7s with the combyn? Would this be a good looking combo or are they not really compatible?

I wouldn’t. But I also really don’t like Giro stuff. Smith Maze is the way to go for sure

How about you bring the goggles to the store and try them with the helmet, you fucking dolt.

They don't have the helmet in stock. Thanks though!

I have the combyn and I/O7, haven't used them together yet though. I know the I/O7's are a bit more of a rounded goggle, especially on the sides, and the combyn is pretty straight across in the front (it fits perfectly with the Giro Axis, which has a fairly flat top edge).

Not sure when you're trying to pull the trigger, but I'll be able to give a better description next week when I have access to them, but hopefully someone else can chime in beforehand.

I've seen lots of people interchange Giro and Smith. Can't say for sure if I've seen this combo, but most likely have since they're both a pretty common helmet and goggle. In my experience, Smith goggles are pretty universal and go well with a lot of different brands (except Bern. They're goofy shaped). Same for Giro. Pretty universal helmets as far as I've seen...

I have the io/7 and combyn. They are fine, i used to have the maze as well and I personally think it sucks as a helmet. literally covered with dents from just carrying it to the hill. The combyn is super durable and comfortable.

so many people use the combyn with a ton of different goggles, its also sweet with my nfx2's

get the combyn!!
