Amazing... best goggles to ever grace my face. Use to like crowbars, but the I/O's feel and look so much sicker IMO. Some of next years I/O's look awesome. I highly suggest you get some... definitely worth it.
I'm a big fan of the I/O. I used to wear Oakley and Anon goggles and loved both brands, but I am really glad I traded them for my I/Os. The fit is very comfortable and the the look is exactly my style. I felt like the Crowbar was gaudy, sick designs but too much for me. I also ski during the day and at night, so I am constantly changing lenses - the lense swapping system on the I/O is pretty sick and they come with an extra lens and a hard case!
I too have also had crowbars and find my I/O's fit a thousand times better with better peripheral vision, better lens options, and super fast lens swapping. I know tons of people who swear by crowbars but for me it comes down to fit, and for my face, I/O's fit the best for sure.
love mine. big fit, big field of vision, i look like a fighter pilot, no fog, no gaper gap with a smith helmet, easy lens change, and plus i got them FO FREE
More I/O love coming from me, they just fit my face like non other. The lens swap comes in super handy for hiking and the varying light that defines northern BC. Way better than A-Frames, for my face at least the Crowbars, and the random other goggles I have owned or borrowed.
Love my I/O's!! Was going to get crowbars, but then the I/O's were something different, looked cooler, better value (with the lenses, case etc) and are super comfy!
that clip is great. when you are wearing a hat or something, and you try to put on goggles or take them off, they pull the hat up and down and it gets all out of place. so the clip allows you to put it on without messing up your flow
Yeah Smith I/O are pretty sick goggles. They never fog and come with two lenses and a hard case, a way better value than Oakley Crowbars. The only down side is that they are expensive. I actually got them from Gilt Man which is selling them again this coming up Saturday. Heres the link http://www.giltman.com/invite/h29c4dkd7lahl6yqcxw6
the straps really arent that flashy at all. look at the white ones and the back ones. they are very plain. plus look at goggles like the scott fix or some EG2s those are way flashier.
