Smith I/O vs Anon Hawkeye

Hey guys, just wondering which goggle you guys think is better. I already have a pair of Hawkeyes with red sol-x's and I like them so far, but I have an opportunity to get a pair of I/os cheap. Lens change is not that big of a deal but it might be a nice option.

Summary: I already have this years anon Hawkeyes but can get I/os for cheap, should I get the I/os or stick with my Hawkeyes?

well, I/Os are super sick, i can say this because i've had a pair for a few seasons now. also, they'd probably fit better with your smith helmet, if that is important to you. but in all seriousness, it's up to you. there probably won't be a significant difference

Thanks, i think i/o's just have a better reputation because smith is a bigger company, maybe more reliable, and more pros/people wear them.

I know but in skiing, smith is bigger than burton, burton's a snowboarding company so I meant just for skiing

The I/os are really good if you want to be able to change lenses quickly, pretty much the easiest on the market other than maybe the anon m1 (sick becuase they use a magnetic locking system on the lens). The I/os also have a slightly better venting system and have a marginally wider range of vision.

If it were me I'd go for them, depends on how cheap you are getting them, but they are a sick goggle for sure! I'd be very surprised if you didn't like them(at least in a technical way)

I just picked up a pair of I/Os from my local store, with a spare set of lense for 90 bucks, hella cheap considering MSRP is somewhere near 160. Im super stoked about them, the lenses are super clear and crisp, and the quick change is going to be a huge help this year when instructing, as my mountain has night skiing, and trying to ski at night with day tints on is pretty much suicide. They fit AMAZING under my Smith Holt, and line up perfectly with the top. Hell they even fit pretty well over the helmet, but that aint steezy. Unfortunatley I dont have any ski experience with them yet, but I can already tell they are much more comforatable than my Oakley Aframes ever were.
