Smith Holt Park helmet

So I have been looking into buying the holt park helmet because it is pretty cheap, but I haven't been able to find very many reviews for it and I am wondering if it is a quality helmet. Or should I just pay the extra $15 to buy the normal smith holt helmet. I've been to the store and tried on both helmets. I'm planning on wearing a thin beanie and goggles under my helmet and would end up taking off the ear pads on the holt anyway. suggestions or reviews would be much appreciated
 
it's the same helmet as the Holt, just without the ear pads etc... made for exactly what you are going to do to regular Holt anyway.

All winter snow sports helmets have to pass the same tests in order to be certified, so it is just as safe as any other certified helmet. Just pre-gutted and ready to go.
 
Ok thanks. I just saw the padding was a little different in the holt then the park when I was trying them on.
 
i just bought it like 20 a hour ago at my local shop. it seems super sick and the large fits well with no padding under a thin beanie

ya, it is a sweet helmet. i regret getting a large cause its huge. but whatev, i say get it. good price.
