Smelly boot syndrome

Due to a lot of summer skiing, excess sweating, and using the same pair of socks ogre and ogre, my ski boots have become pretty smelly. I dont really mind it except when i leave my boots in my car on hot days and the whole car smells. I try rubbing the liners down with dryer sheets. That helps a little but i was wondering if there are ways to wash my liners without destroying them.

You can try hand washing them with a mild detergent.

I'd also recommend spraying them with Lysol. It kills the bacteria that's making them stink.

Pull the liners out of the shell before you spray them and then let them dry out before sticking them back in.

The reason i dont trust your advice is because youre a pinkname and girls feet dont smell bad, more like flowers and chicolate

If you can get them to the point where you can't smell them when you are wearing them then you will be doing pretty good. Once you get to that point just keep them very dry and pull out the liners every night and just try not to inhale too deeply when you are messing with the liners.

I cant smell em when im wearin them, however i am getting my skis remounted and i feel bad giving the tech smelly boots!

The tech doesnt need the liner. Just the shell. At least at my shop.

I have these. Helps dry out my boots every night, and the UV is supposed to kill the bacteria that causes the odors. 70+ days last season, and my boots seriously have no smell to them.
