4/27/06 - Trey & Mike to tour; Phish to return

In an interview on an Atlanta radio station today, Trey (likely in Atlanta for studio work with a producer he's teamed up with before) confirmed rumos that he, Mike, and the Benevento/Russo duo will tour together this summer. Though tickets and billing will likely portray some hierarchy among the bill's acts, rumors (based on previous things Mike and Trey have said) describe the tour as some sort of interactive meld, with each of the 3 doing their own stuff, as well as some interaction among them.

Trey also mentioned that he "hopes to get Phish back together in a few years", dispelling rumors of an October 2006 reunion but confirming common suspicions that this "breakup" is really a second hiatus.

one of the most over-rated bands ever. They're good yes, i've seen them quite a few times in Burlington, but they're not great. And when you charge rediculous prices for the "Final Show" because the band is breaking up for good, then i think it's dumb when you keep getting back together.

fuck you, "its dumb when you keep getting back together". They broke up and mike and trey played together one time in NY last summer. Please explain how they keep getting back together? I cant believe a ticket to a phish show was wasted on you.

Im stoked for this and im gonna go to multiple shows if i can. Trey kicks ass, i remember when he came to cincinnati, he was doing some solo acoustic, and started talking to the crowd about how he misses all the guys too, then continued to play a sick acoustic chalk dust. I cant fucking wait for this, im getting pumped up just typing about it
