Smash and grab...an investment?

Ok so no hate, I just have a question up for discussion. Also I'm on mobile so spelling is going to be fucked up.

I was trying to decide which case I want, and I was either thinking d or c. I'll either get one d or two c. I'm just trying to justify paying 350 just to sell most of the pieces in my case. If I sell most of he pieces, will they sell. I'm sure other people are thinking about his, what should I do?

On a side note I could also not buy smash and grab items and wait for the deals, but that's no fun, and people don't sell their good stuff for like 35.
 
i have yet to ever own a piece of jiberish but i've seen the price police out on full alert once the smash and grab hits....everyone will be making sure you aren't trying to flip something haevy from the sale
 
remember that all the items in s&g will drop in value when this happens, because everyone will have gotten them for such a low price. that said, if you are patient and wait a couple of years before selling them, their values will be back up and you will make bank. so if you are going to buy s&g boxes, do it as a LONG TERM investment, or you will just be wasting your time.
 
Its 300$ + Shipping for 7 cut and sew items, 1 button down/sweater, and 1 snapback.

I'd say it would be pretty easy to flip all this stuff and easily make your money back.

 
Lol @ the newschoolers economy. I was under the impression that Jiberish was on the decline, people seems less interested these days

Well when you factor in the shipping of 20 bucks for the C Crate, in what size you get, and what pieces might be left. You might get that slim chance of the nice ass piece that's sold out or hidden in the warehouse, but chances are you're getting hoodies that nobody wanted this year. It's like the Iron Faces last year. You could pick one of those fuckers up for 30 bucks shipped in threads after smash and grabs last year. and chances are if Its a legit piece you're going to want to hold onto it for yourself. This year, I haven't been the biggest fan of everything so getting some in a random crate didn't make as much sense because after you buy the crate have it shipped and then resell each piece below price + their shipping costs, you might make money or break even buts its not a sure thing. Then again if you use them as trading pieces, and trade for things you do want, it can be a great investment. Then again we're talking about clothing on a freeskiing website that peopele thing is great cause tammy wallnutz rides for them. Take that out of the equation and you have decent quality hoodies/crews/shirts for much below price.

TL;DR if you don't really want any of this years pieces and want to sell right away I suggest not buying a crate
 
i was thinking about this but then i had a better idea

i'm planning on saving my stuff i currently have till everybody gets their s&g boxes and puts their pieces up for sale... that way, i will stick out like a sore thumb selling some solid pieces not from s&g and hopefully make more money
 
Last year I bought two case 2s, one in 2xl and the other in 3xl cause it was my first time purchasing Jiberish. So overall I think it came out to like $315 or $330 after shipping and tax, I can't remember. Anyway, I didn't sell anything right away. I waited and over the course of about a half a year I sold and traded away everything. In the end I ended up with a 3xl dripset, xl orage taylor, 2xl gridded, a jacks snapback, and I made back all of my money plus $60.

Now since this is the second year of this I'm not sure that I could do it again. I don't plan on buying any cases this, but it was the best decision I've ever made. I could've bought a couple hoodies on here and paid a couple hundred, but instead I made $60 and ended up with some dope hoodies.
 
case c im pretty sure has all sizes, but case d does not have all sizes, people want bigger sizes, i got case c because of the bigger size.
 
Might buy the beanie case hahahahaha. Some jiberish is ugly and I don't want ti so idk if it's worth it. It'll be my second purchase of Jiberish so we'll see. When does the sale end this saturday???
 
ill get pics up later, i think that will make it cooler to see them. oh and i got a scarf to, not going to use it but still very nice
 
Its a fuckin steal, my roommate got 3 sick hats from the hat case. I ordered it the same day but mines yet to come because the usps has a vendetta against me
