Honestly bought a kids beanie at a dollar store a few years back. It’s absolutely perfect size and does the job for hella cheap. Best one I’ve owned and have got through tons of different ski/sport specific brand beanies.

My wife is mad good a crochet and makes me beanies now. Its pretty fun to hit up Hobby Lobby and choose different colors etc and get a custom hat made.
