Seeing as how NS got a new server is there some way the maximum picture size could be like 50-100k instead of 30k? It is really hard to get pics small enough.

it's really not though...lower the picture quality a bit and make the picture a bit smaller and you should have no problem making it fit. Just because the site has a lot of bandwidth doesn't mean we should abuse it.

There isn't really any reason to increase the limit... 30K is pretty big... the newschoolers.com picture at the top of this site is 2! Just decrease the size of the picture to 300 by 300 (or whatever), decrease the quality to 60%, and make sure it's a JPG... that's really all you should have to do!

Just because we have a bigger server doesn't mean that we have to fill it up with bigger pictures.

Yah theres ways to keep the qaulity up too, like crop the main part of the picture, then reduce the size to around 50% keeps the qaulity allright.

or jsut get your own server and link....thats what i do. how can you have a 600k picture. mine are all like 90k if that........and thats huge i think.
