Slvsh Tournament Idea

So after watching the mind-blowing game of slvsh that dropped today, and with the concept of the Slvsh Cup, I though of this; Why not do a public/open game of Slvsh? Nobody has ever done this. and It would be dope and could quite possibly work! Group game of SKATE/SLVSH has been done countless times and always works out pretty well

Ideas:

Obviously pros/semi pros would be excluded because they would murder any amateur skiers

Game divided into groups (depending on the number of participants) such as 4 groups of 6 to keep the everything organized and clear

raffle or drawing sticks would be instead of rock paper scissors

top 2 from each group move on

3 trick set limit so everyone has a trick to set

This is a very rough brainstorm so any comments or obvious issues post em up!

Good idea! Would be an interesting turn out. but the whole point of slvsh is for pros to battle it out against each other thats what I like about it

hmm. I'm not sure that is 'the point of Slvsh'. The point of Slvsh or any game of SKATE/SKI/SLVSH is to have others push you to try new tricks in situations where you must attempt that trick. If you look at a game like Andy Parry vs Jeremy whateverhislastnameis they aren't really "battling it out". They are really just having a sesh and trying to land weird and interesting tricks. And I still understand that the concept of the brand Slvsh is to be a league of the top pro skiers. All I'm saying is that it doesn't need to be ran by Slvsh and Joss and Matt walker, it could be any SlvshCup-style event instead. :)
