Slowwwww CD Burner

so my cd burner used to burn cds pretty fast, around ten minutes maybe. Now when I go to burn a cd it takes upwards of 20 minutes. Anyone know why this is happening? I have a ibook G4 and no superdrive just the cd burner if that helps.

10 minutes is fast? for a full cd on my dell it takes like 4-5 minutes

dude my first burner i ever had was an external one. it was a 2 speed and it took well over an hour to make a full cd. i would have to let it burn over night

i burn CDs in 2 mins
