SLOPESTYLE COMP @ MAD RIVER

its gonna be dope. its the Aspen one. park should be well groomed, multiple hits, etc. from what i can tell, the vibe down there is great. i didnt see anyone running around thinking they were god and shit, and btw mitch, if your gonna ride for Aspen, its always really cool to go online and say thier comp is gonna suck.

but it should be a good time, gonna have a grill out there, tunes, lots of demos, all that shit.
 
UPDATE alirghty the set up is a 2 jumps side by side.. the left one is bigger and pops u nice maybe 30-35ish... speed isnt a problem.. after that is a step up ( tonight it was sketchy as hell but they will take care of it) then after that is the rails section it goes mellow down rail -- flat down-- flat 32' box-- the rail set up is the same as mwx so it should be a good time... pray for no wind
 
The comp and demo is going to be sick their is going to be an urban type rail at the top followed by a jump with a small takeoff and a larger one. after that their is going to be a big step up, all of this followed by a sick rail line. prize's are going to be dope!!!! seths for first pro and sprayers for 1st amature. the prizes are really legit. we have tons of stuff just to hand out as well as stuff for a big raffle. sign ups start at 10:00am so come out early and domo some of this years and next years skis while you wait. this event is going to be really sick and i think all of you should come out.
 
yeah so i just learned rails... yesterday sooo this blows.. i might just enter as an am. so i can see all the other sick kids go
 
k cool go for it! mad river is actually fun this year...ive gone for years and there is actually skiers now...not saying they are all sweet and sponsored but its fun now...so dont go expecting the vibe to 'suck' cuz im sure that wouldnt help at all
 
I can not belive some of the prizes we are giving away!!! it makes mwx look like crap! skis for first amature and pro krypton boots for second z-10 bindings for 3rd and we have boxes of stuff to hand out and for the raffle!! yes their is an amatur and a pro division for ski and snowboard. The set up is looking sick and i hope to see you all thier!!!!

hell yea! sooo much fun. other than the wind screwin stuff up a bit, it was a great lil comp. we know how to get this shit done!
 
so the comp would have been alot better with no wind but it was a short real mellow down box then high line or low line then step up then down rail followed by a flat down the a 32 foot flat box... the first box wasnt very popular to hit cuz then u couldnt find enough speed for the bigger jump... after the 1st jump u couldnt get enough speed for the step up 1st place did a 540 w/ a tail and 3rd did a 360 truck off the jumps.. i forget wut 2nd did but it was chirs t and i dunno what happened on rails cuz i was just watchin the jump... theres ur details .. oh and 1st place got new seths which r like 700+ dollar skis
 
haha i 270d onto the street rail/box, 3 on the jump, switch on, disaster/switch, 270 on off on the box. it was pretty stock, and REALLY wanted to do some more shit second run, but wind got me, still got some good shit!

prizes: first place pro: K2 seths

second: krypton rampages, oakley a frames

third: sal z10 binders

am first: sal dumonts, not sure of other places.

but gil and all the other sponsors threw down a SHITLOAD of free stuff and prizes, i think everyone walked away with at least a tshirt. it was super dope.
