Slider question

So currently I am sold on this tripod kit. It seems really good and i've read around it hopefully its good. But does NS have anyother suggestions? But my question is that, I would like to get a konova slider in the future. But since I would like to get everything manfrotto, so the quick release would be compatible with everything. (glidecam, tripod, slider) If you understand what I mean, would I have to buy a manfrotto head to put into the slider so that everything would be compatible with eachother?

Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

I do not think it comes with a head... Dont hold me to it. But wouldn't it be more if I had to buy a head also?

The sachtler ace? Yeah it comes with a head. Thats what your really paying for. PM mike blatt or abe, they both have one.

Thread jack (kind of) but I'm in the market for a slider. Anyone have any suggestions? I want something in the 36" range, and something SMOOTH. It also must be able to be supported by one tripod in the middle if needed, but I'll usually use it with 2. Just want that stability to be there for when getting fast slider shots during wedding stuff and need to setup and break down quickly

I have that K2 and I just take my 501HDV head and put it onto the slider. When it's on my tripod you can feel a bit of traction in the middle, so I usually just use 1/2 the slide and slide from the middle to an end (avoiding going over where it's mounted on the tripod). If you put it on it's legs it's smooth throughout
