Slick skis

Is there any compagnies out there who sells slick skis like burton does with the dominant? and if not, why not?...excuse my bad english...:S

I looked at the dominant, and it has this "slick" spot that doesn't have any edge, so it makes it easier to slide tough stuff like concrete ledges without eating shit.

there are no skis that are made like this currently. there are some with metal parts underfoot that make it easier, but since you can spread apart your stance on skis, it is really unnecessary.

although if you ride urban long enough, your edges will rip out and you have basically the same thing

just to let you know my friend on here .dre. has the dominant with slick, and he HATES it for all mountain. he hates it for basically everything outside the park b/c it cant do anything. he said he wants to get a 50 all mountain/50 park board next year.

oh. I skimmed over it quickly. i didn't see the part about no edge. They were just really detuned

well seeing as most skis come with an edge that continues with sharpness, and the t-halls had almost completely round edges underfoot, i woul call it pretty detuned.
