Skitching on Skis

After the massive blizzard in the Northeast, I realized for the remainder of the day that there was enough snow on the roads to essentially ski on them if there was any sort of incline. After some thought, I realized it would be pretty fun to skitch around campus on a snow day. Has anyone every tried this?

Why would you need an incline to skitch? NEver done it skiing but lots of snerrrberrding, some bmx, skateberrding etc. Towed some people into rails before and down the road a few times.

Did it with ATV, best fun ever! But you gotta get a rope and watch out on a turns. It goes crazy fast on a turns.

If you have a chance to do it go for it!
 
the city of albany shuts down with heavy snow, one way streets turn in to halfpipes, ratchet straps or ski rope on the hitch is mint! i need a winch
 
Ya done it with a sled. Not the smartest thing but friend went 80 across a lake behind a sled. Used it to pull into a jump over a road and such
 
Do it all the time with the snomos to get around work ha we've loaded down 6 people on one sled before. Just remember folks car wise never hang on in front of a wheel, had a couple friends break legs and one get his chest smashed he didn't make it sad day. But skitching is fun as hell
