I'm looking for a new pair of skis and i'm stuck between the armada arws and the line shadows . I currently am riding 2008 dynastar she's trouble. Any advice or thoughts would be great. +karma

ive heard that the arw's are just a more flexy and deluxe version of the ar6's for girls...and hearing how much everyone loves ar6's on this site you cant go wrong with them...but then again most love line too...

i would go with the arws just cause there armadas and dont know much about line

The ARW is basically a narrower version of the AR6, I think the turn radius is probably the same. My sister went with invaders and she loves them. The shadow is the same ski as the invader, I do not know if they could make it softer than it is or what the difference is besides graffics. Go with the better price.

yeah the graphics are pretty comparable but the shadows are $200 and the arws are $350. i'm still kind of leaning more towards the arws a little.

Having flexed both, the ARWs are stiffer. The shadows are the same thing as the invader, although they felt like they me be a tad bit softer. You are going to get a great ski no matter which one you get. My vote to the Shadows.

considering their male counterparts (armada ar6 and line invader), i guess that shadow are more park oriented than arw, which are stiffer and prolly a more all-mountain ski (i think arw's performances could also last longer than shadow's; it's a 150$ gap anyway)

u should message SHampson cuz his AR6's broke really weird and i think he might be able to tell u about Armada's customer service and such, cuz u never know if u have some trouble with ur skis as well...

i personally can't really tell u anything about which ski to get cuz i don't know so much about them, and i don't wanna talk shit... sry

Armadas customer service is great, I destroyed a pair of ARV, it was obvious impact and rail damage, and they warrantied the skis, and hooked it up with the following seasons model!

If I were you, I would go with the Line Shadows. From what I understand they are the women's version of the Line Invader which is a very popular ski that is great for all around park skiing. Theres a girl at my local ski hill with the Shadow's and I think they looked pretty cool. Hope that helps.

i ride the arw's there super flexy and nice for butters. theres probaly my fav womens ski currently. demo a pair!!

this all depends on if your a 24/7 park chick or a more all mountain rider. if your gonna center mount the skis get the shadows if not arw ftw

Line skis have smaller turn radius', and therefore turn waaay better (tighter) on the Blue Ice of the East.
