Skis with holes already drilled

on of my friends has these oair of skis he wants to sell me, but the are already drilled. what is the downgrades of this?

^correct. however, the structural integrity of the ski isn't compromised until it's been drilled 3-4 times. i had old teneighties that i used and abused for 3 seasons with no problems and they were drilled 4 times. more than 3-4 drillings, though, and you're looking at potential binding ripouts and a weak point in the ski where all the holes are.

pssh 1080s are weak even if they haven't been redrilled at all....Im thinking of redrilling my Fujis to one step in front of tru center.

it will just weaken them a little bit but only but them if they have only been drilled once, after that they can become waterlogged and very weak making them very vulnerable to snappage.

^that's why you gotta plug the holes.
