I have been putting off making this thread for a while but I think it's time. I had my skis stolen from the Nevada gulch parking lot on either Tuesday or Wednesday of last week from Terry Peak South Dakota. They were the 09 Line Elizabeth.

I really don't have much. I don't even own a jacket. Anyone want to buy a beat to shit scratched up buttons don't always work and audio jack is broken ipod touch?
 
wow, that sucks. good luck getting the money, its a shame, it always seems people who get their shit stolen cant afford new sticks, never rich kids who have the money to blow.
 
My skis were stolen 2 weeks ago! But I had already ordered Halo's the day before if thats what you're looking for.
But it seriously suck when people steal from you. I hated just waiting for my new skis to arrive and not being able to ski for a week! +vibes and good luck finding them!
 
I lost my phone so I coudnt txt you. If It wasn't tourists like I suspect then they will probably be found.
 
keep checking on like craigslist in the surrounding areas, ebay, tgr, and the b/t. I don't think an NS'er in our neck of the woods would do that though.
 
got my skis stolen last year. than saw the a kid riding them up there two months later....dumbass. but shit sucks dude, hope you find them
 
I hope his face doesn't look the same. There is a special place in hell reserved for those that steal skis. I still can't really believe that this happened to me.

positive vibes to you man. never gotten my skis stolen but have had people walk off with meh poles sucks balls. hope u get them back. and ill keep my eye open if they wander up to washington. check your local craigslist ads. they might try to sell them
 
after getting my skis and seeing my friends stolen, i can offer this advice. never give up for starters you never know they might be at a shop to get remounted down near a city, call shops as well the police and file a claim. and just remember facebook is a powerful tool both times i got shit stolen some friend of a friend left me a tip that led to getting my skis back.

One thing - your said Tues or Weds.... did you leave them overnight in a car or something?

I had my apartment broken into on Christmas day with over $6k worth of shit stolen. Luckily I took all my ski stuff home the night before for Christmas with the fam.

As others have said, stay sharp and keep your eyes peeled on BST, TGR, Ebay, and Craigslist. If they're gonna dump it, it would most likely be on Craigslist or a near-by pawn shop.

When they take a report, they monitor local pawn shops in search of your stolen property.

I'm fairly sure pawn shops are required to keep a log of what goes in and out. At least that was my understanding when talking to the officer who dealt with my robbery. That's how you will catch the fucker.

And yes It has been reported to the police but unfortunately I lost the paper I had the serial number wrote down on some I'm pretty much SOL.
 
+Vibes, man. They sound like pretty unique skis, I dunno if you'd find that ski/binding combo. I hope you find the kid (or adult) who stole them. Like everyone else has said, check pawn shops. They're easy places to dump stuff.

As for the guy who saw the kid riding his stolen skis, what did you do to the kid?
 
Just got a phone call from the detective saying they got the fucks who stole our shit and that they have recovered 80% of what was stolen!

Keep your head up and positive vibes. I never thought I'de ever see my stuff again.
