Skis mounted incorrectly?

yo my fitter put my bindings on slightly off center, even though I specifically asked for them to be put dead center. they are about 1-2cm back from center, is it worth taking them back and getting them mounted again? I know it slightly decreases the strength of the ski (volkl wall). Thanks

I would just deal with it. Maybe try and score a free hoodie for their fuck up or somethin.

Youre not going to noticd 1-2cm

If you purchased the skis there and have paperwork to back you up, you have every right to politely ask for a new pair.

Did you mark on the skis where you wanted them mounted?

Did you specify length center?

Did you specify sidecut center?

Did you specify contact center?

Saying "mount them center" is not as simple as it sounds unless you put a mark on the ski exactly where you want it.

^ Full camber , symmetrical ski. Hard to argue where center is.Paperwork will greatly help the cause though.

I don't think the Wall is 100% fully symmetric, meaning the tip is not the same length as the tail. Pretty sure Line has that patent. But I agree, should be not a huge debate unless the top sheet is incorrectly mounted or there was simply a mistake made during mounting.

The main point I was trying to make was people need to get in the habit of marking the mounting location on the ski. It's the only way to make sure there is no confusion on where to do it. If there is any fault then it will then be with the shop.

I cant believe not everyone does this. I takes like 2 minutes to measure and put scotch tape on the ski with a line
