Skis in Japan

Should I bring my ar7's to japan or just hire pow skis when im over there? Looking to mainly hit the powder and a little but of park probably.

also, I've heard that rental is more expensive so maybe buying used pow skis is the solution

You will make the worlds best trip into the worst trip if you're skiing pow. Definitely rent something 110+ underfoot, preferably like 120 or so if you're shredding that deep stuff.
