Skis for Terrain Park

Hey everyone!

I wanted to see if anyone can help me out. I am 6'1 185lbs. and I am in search of short skiis/blades that would be the go to pair for the terrain park. I ski with boarders who usually stay in the park area but my skis are too long to hit a lot of things. What size should I get? I would like to get blades but I feel that ones a little longer would be good for the hill as well as the park. I will be skiing in vail this February so need them soon.

What would a good size be?

What is a good brand?

Is there anything else I should look at?

Thanks for the help!

Don't. Ever. Get. Snowblades.

But seriously just get some used park ski's around 180 and you'll be fine, and after skiing the used ones for a while you can see how the size feels and see if you want to go up or down a little. But really with your height and weight apark ski close to 180 would be great

I have 175s right now and think they are too long. I was thinking 165 or 160. Would that be way too short? I feel like it would be easier to hit rails

I'm 5'11" 160lbs and ride 182 Armada Halos in the park. For your size and weight I would not go shorter than 175cm for a park ski. Yours are a great size. Getting skis that short will make you unstable, and you'll look like an idiot.

Check out ON3P park models, those are my next skis!

Yeah don't be that guy that rocks ski blades... ever. Get a decent park ski. It will be great on rails jumps etc and still be able to be taken around the mountain. I'm the same size as you and ride a 186 park ski. It doesn't need to be short to hit rails. I absolutely wouldn't go shorter than 178 or 176ish for your size if you're firm about getting a shorter ski.

yeah I'm 5'9" and 140 and ski 177 park skis, and now when i take out my 172 elizabeths they feel short. i wouldn't go below 180 if I were you. And if you feel like blades would make rails easier then just gotta get that confidence up. commit on some real skis!
