Skis for next year for 6'7 335 lb beginning skier

haha this is cruel.

Seriously though, Volkl Chopsticks were good for someone 250ish I talked too, said they were his favorite for the stiffness and pow performance at his weight. Don't get those 181 waisted worthlesss things if that was what the link was to.. Pontoons may work, but will be a bit soft.

its his first full season of skiing, so i would strongly recomend you stay away from rockered skis like chopsticks

holy shit and i thought i was a big skier but u take the cake props bro well u out weigh me by 85 but i like chronics to begin with

can you explain more about this rocker and directional mumbo jumbo i dont have idea about what you are talking about i want to get air tho also what kind of bindings should i buy

search up the k2 hellbents or line ep pros both those skis have rocker on them and what rocker basically is is the tip and tail begin to rise up earlier than the traditional camber ski and a directional ski is a ski that has only the tip bent up compared to a twintip ski that has both the tip and tail bent up

a ski that could possibly work for you is the line chronics or mabey some faction skis

dam you are fucking huge.... i'd say 2 burtons snowboards sideways mounted with some rossi binders....

thats my best guess

Stop being sarcastic little fucks, the man just wants answers.

Your going to need a massive ski man. Definitely quite stiff, just due to your weight. A stiff ski for me at 205 lbs will be quite more flexible for you, that and your 6'7 (I'm 6'5), so your going to want a long ski. Longer skis = more stability. They're a little harder to learn on, but they're just better in the long run.

I know the Armada ANT's come in a 191? And they're pretty stiff. You could check those out. Have quite a bit of a waist on them too.

And as for bindings, I'm torn. Your big, heavy, and will need a high din just due to your pure size. But you won't be amazing and a too high of a din could hurt your knees (which is something we dont want). Perhaps a Head Mojo 15, STH 16? Any other recommendations?

you might want to look into 192 surface live lifes. there pretty burly stiff with a little nose rocker. binding look for p 18s( or mojo 20)

go down to home depot and get the largest 2x4 you can find throw some leather straps on that bitch and hit the slopes

Actually, maybe 333 skis is the way to go. They make custom made skis for only $333. Then you can get get the length you need, the width you need and the stiffness you need. You'd probably want something at least 200 cms long if not longer maybe as long as 210 or 215 cms. For width you'd probably want at least 100 mms underfoot if not 110, 115, or 120. For stiffness, you'd want the stiffest ski that company can make.

been here, beginng of last season i was 326 and riding k2 public enemies, half way threw i bought the k2 obsetheds great skis pefrect for my size i would recomend the vokal gotamas since they are 105 in the waist and not rockerd so they would be good for a beginner

^^^ actually k2 has twintips that are directional skis. it just means they ski better forward than switch. and to the OP those are not worth anything those skis are wayy to fat. and buying bindings would cost you an arm and a leg for a fucking 181 waist width. chronic cryptonites might be a good ski for you.
