Skis coming off?

I'm new to skiing and when I went, I went through some pretty deep powder my skis kept coming off, everytime I'd go down that path my skis would go in the powder a little then bam they'd pop right off? How do i keep it from coming off? Would part of it be crappy rental skis?

make sure your technique is right before you put the DIN setting up, i'd rather a lost ski than a broken leg. powder will rarely take your ski off at low speed. rentals though.... ;)

din settings are the numbers you see on the toe piece of the binding and on the heel piece of the binding that you can loosen/tighten with a screw driver- basically for a quick adjustment if your new you shouldnt tighten your din settings by yourself have them looked at and dont forget to tighten the heel if you do the toe
