Skis at vail co

I'm going out to vail in two weeks from nh and I can only bring one pair of skis what would u guys recommend to bring a pair of park skis (line step ups) or powder skis (k2 obsethed)

Well obsethed aren't a poontoon or JJ or anything, and March is our snowiest month so just bring the obsethed. Or just rent.

I was just there last week actually and rented some S3's and they were perfect. They got about 6" while I was there.

It is most definitely a question worth debating. Personally, I would take the park skis. Vail doesn't get a terrible amount of snow and this year has not been very good or snow. Even if it does snow, you can ski the powder on your Line Step Ups. It is not as ideal skiing on your obsethed, but I would rather be in that situation than skiing groomers with the obsethed.

Obsethed

I'm going to Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado for a month leaving today (live in Minnesota), bringing my Obsetheds and Extremes. Guessing I'll be on my Obsetheds 99% of the time.

im in the same boat, however i don't own pow skis, and the only skis i would really want to bring are corrupt dirty bastards which are TERRIBLE in pow. Any body know how much it is to rent pow skis for like a week?

Well look at the weather in vail literally right before you go to the airport if there looks like some good storms are coming bring the K2's. But otherwise just bring your lines man. If for some reason it dumps a fair amount while your out here you can always rent powder skis from the shops in vail.

Why not bring both? The cost of my double ski bag is probably less than it costs to rent pow skis. If you're worried about the airline... searchbar it. Myself and many others bring two pair every time we go and have never had problems.
