Skins compatable wit moment wildcat 108s

so I'm looking into getting moment wildcat 108s to go with my cast touring setup and was wondering how hard it would be to find a skin with clips that fit on the fat, blunt-nosed tips these skis have. any of you have experience fitting skins onto these, or on3ps, or another similar blunt-nosed ski? I will imbed a pic of the ski so you can see the tip shape and help me out here. the exact tip width at the widest point is 134mm. the ski I'm looking at is the one in the middle of this pic.

Get the Wildcat Tour 108 instead. problem solved.

il going to be using these inbounds the vast majority of the time, I want the extra stability. do you think you could answer my question?

If that's the case, sounds like you should just get a dremmel tool and cut a skin notch into the tail (this is what I'd do)

dont believe there's a tail clip out there is going to surely stay put on that ski otherwise... which is why moments kinda suck for touring.

thanks for the response, that's what I figured id have to do. what kind of TIP connectors do you think would do well with the shape of the tip? any specific skin brands that have connectors that work well with blunt noses?

yeah... good luck with that too. BD is out of the question. G3 is probably the way to go.

ok cool. I just met someone who is using Pocomoas on wildcats, what are your thoughts on them? you seem to be pretty knowledgeable on this stuff.

Everyone has their own opinions about every skin. Everyone seems to hate Black diamond, G3, Pomoca, Contour, Montana, Blue Sky, Climbingskinsdirect... they all suck. None are good. I'll never buy one of those again.

The best skins all come from Black diamond, G3, Pomoca, Contour, Montana, Blue Sky, Climbingskinsdirect... They are all the best and I would never buy one of the others again.

to tell you the truth, none of the skins out there really suck, people just suck at storing them, or using them.

Not sure if the tip would fit as I don't have experience with that shape, but I do like Pomoca skins better than the BD and G3 skins that I've used. The glue is much better, easier to clean, great glide, etc. Admittedly, I am not meticulous in caring for skins but do a decent job. My wife is way better about it and still has issues with BD/G3 glue.

I'm excited to try out some Contour skins with their different approach to adhesive. I've got a pair but a spine injury is putting me out of commission for the season.

I used to buy the G3 twin tip connector and put it on my BD tail to fit twin tails better. Not sure that will help with the blunted tip/tail.

thanks. so there all pretty good, most are probably just made in the same place and are quite similar?

I currently have a pair of BD ascension skins and I find the tail clip stays on my Enforcer 110's really well, and they have a fairly round tail with no notch. Just make sure to pull the clip really tight.

G3 Alpinist with the twin tip attachment or Pomoca.

I just ordered a pair of Marker's for my Bibby's (the older Wildcat). Hopefully they work. I'll report back when they arrive.

I came here to say this. Any of the G3 skins with the twin tip connector will work fine on the Wildcat OP.
