Skinnying snowpants

my snow pants have a huge rip in the crotch so i sewed them but i need new snow pants so i thought i could make my old ones skinny.

Turn them inside out and put them on
Pin them to how tight you want all along the inseam.
Sew to desired tightness all along the seam, but make sure you don't make it so skinny you cant put them over your boots.
DO NOT cut off the left over sewed in material, it will ruin any waterproofing/durability the pants may have had
