So I just got these skis:

and i need some skins. They come with holes for skins like K2 Skis, but they do not produce their own skins. I am thinking of just buying the pre cut skins for these Coombacks:http://k2skis.com/skis/coomback-104 and then trimming them to my width. Anyone have any experience with that or any input at all?

If that doesnt work I'll probably go for a Mohair mix from BD, G3, or BCA. I've only used BD, so I'd like to try something new, any recommendations?
 
dont get k2 skins. they constantly fall out of the hole while hiking so id avoid them. iv got g3s and theyve done very well for me
 
just get a pair of g3 mohair mix skins. I've tried a lot of different stuff, and G3 has consistantly worked well for me. Just because you can use a hole attatchment for your tips doesn't mean you have to.
 
I too am I need of skis. I have a pair of atomic access' 171. I was thinking g3s or magic carpets. Input is appreciated.
 
I've used both BD and G3. Both are great. Only reason I'm on G3 right now is because they fit the skis I'm on right now better. Ether way you can't go wrong with BD or G3.
