SkimBoard?

I go to florida on march break, and when the waves suck, i skimboard.. have any of you guys ever tryed it? its actually pretty fun.. nothing compared to surfing though

yep, during flat spells i always bust out the skimboard. They're fun as hell to dick around on. There's a beach on the N shore of MA that is perfect for skimming. Big ol' waves break right on the sure and its at the perfect angle. Very fun to do when there's no waves to be had.

i dont even surf. i skim. thats because we dont have any big waves in urkraine.

Skimboarding is pretty big in Vancouver. We have NO waves except if you take a ferry and drive 6 hours, so we skimboard down at the beach. Its pretty fun, they set up triple kink rails and stuff it gets crazy.

skimboarding is so much fun. it's great to do when there's no waves or when the water's freezing cold. plus it's good exercise.

i sometimes skim but i live in CT and i only go to RI when the waves are good so when i go down i try to make the most of my time surfing

my father built me one a couple of years ago out of a sheet of wood.....hahaha it worked since i waas like 8 so i wasnt too heavy but one day a friend who was like 130 pounds tried it and broke it.....so i was sad

and i never touched one again......sand hurts

when i lived in VA beach and the surf was flat i skimed all the time

when i was in maui i did a little skimming with maui skimmers. they are ridiculously good, aerial bagkflips and 360s. its incredible

its not super hard to do a backflip on one

when u get into the water turn the board sideways so ur like sidesliding and grab both rails and when u hit the wave just flip back and keep holding hte board under ur feet
