so i was skiing today and noticed that my edges started to derail in two places and i have a ski trip im going on this next weekend and i want to order skis online for a good deal but i wont be able to get them in time for this weekend and i was wondering what would happen if i maybe just like ripped the edges out underfoot and like filed the corners of the edges way down so they wouldnt catch. what should i do?

find some skis cheap and fast or rent. you are not going to be able to carve in anything unless its a groomer.

yo ull be fine, u can still ski n hold enough carve to make turns n shit- when u hit ice it gets sketchy but idk if ur in the east- the only other thing ull realize is that itll slide smooothhh

are you going to west coast or east coast? because if your skiing natural snow you should be fine especially if it's all park

If you just cut the edge about an inch past where is started ripping out and file down the edges you will be fine. It really makes no difference if it is underfoot, b/c if you hit rails your edges are dull anyway.

i am missing a foot of edge on both skis..

it doesnt effect u for jibbing but you wont have good control carving into stuff especially switch
