Skiing with skate helmet ?

somebody here doin it ? how is it, is the skateboard helmets to weak for crushing my head down on rails ans stuff ?

I don't suggest it. But it is still better then nothing. I do it for my summer set ups though

my friend started doing that with his bell skate helmet and now all the snowboarders went out and bought the same helmet

i wouldnt suggest using one in very cold temperatures, as many skate helmets have padding that becomes ineffective once the temperature drops beneath a certain point

My friend used to do it cause he his old one didnt fit
its the same he said
you just look really gay cause it always flys back and its really annoying

yeah, but that is if u have an helmet that is way to big : P it happens to all helmets if they are to big.....
