Skiing with mono...

Well that was a new experience. I finally admitted that I havn't just had a cold for the past month...i have mono. Blood test confirmed it, but doc said it's on its way out and i'm not contagious anymore or anything. Anyways, I hit up Killington the other day because I hadn't skied in almost 2 weeks. I felt fine all day, but about the time the lifts closed I felt like i was ready to pass out. Luckily I was with a friend, so he drove home while I slept. Went to bed around 5pm and got up at 8am the next morning. LOL wiped me out completely, but it was worth it. Anyone else ever had mono and attempted to keep the season rolling?

not mono ski...mono the sickness. that sux that u got it, gj on keeping it up the whole day. anyway good thing for u its on its way out, my friend had it really bad for round 3 months and missed a bunch of school

no for serious dude. Armada is buying Quicksilver and then once they own Quicksilver they might own Rossi since Quicksilver might buy Rossi. Then again, maybe the lemonade stand down the street might buy Armada... which I guess would mean that the future of the sport is now owned by two little girls in pigtails. yea, i let my friends watch sometimes when they get bored. ive rented out some bleachers for them to sit in actually, im thinking of making big foam hands with 'no jaime! not in there!' written on them.

I would have died if I tried skiing with mono. I would have died if I had left the hospital... Doesn't sound liek you had it too bad, lucky. I was in the hospital for a week and on homecare for a week and then pretty much slept 16 hours a day for the next 2 weeks.
