Skiing with ipod

used to for like first month of season... then it broke... good shit... now i listen to the sounds of nature... and people on rentals as they scream their way down the hill... and through the park... it gets me so pumped...

i listen when alone but my helmet isnt one with earphones in it so it is kinda stupid, the helmets with the space to plug the ipod in are good though.

i have tuneups i love them but i sometimes dont hear people coming up from behind me and i carve right into them but i say sorry see if they are alright and ski away

yup, I usually ski alone so normally I listen to the ipod and sing along. It's good for the bus ride home, too.

Can anyone recommend a good helmet with the music add on, preferably with a mute button? My old helmet is getting small, and I like listening to music while skiing.

ive been skiing w/ music for a season, and i noticed whenever i wasn't skiing with music i would get bored and not pumped up enough. i always skiied with music w/ my friends and they never even realized that i was listening to music...i had tuneups so i would just pause it when they would talk

I've almost knocked plenty of park rats off cat tracks because they can't hear me yelling at them that I'm passing on the left. I WILL drop bows if someone can't hear me coming.

hey, that's what I ended up getting. not completely actually, I didn't get the MX and I didn't get the wireless, it's like $200.

Actually, I pay a band to follow me around on the mountain and play live music. That way, everyone else can enjoy it too.

I use it all the time, alone or with people. I turn it off on the lift, but when im riding its on.

get a giro helmet and the wireless audio system. u can pause song and skip songs and turn up the volume. its the shit.

only one ear. so i don't get slamed by the beginners that are flying out of control at u yelling "WATCH OUT"

When im by myself its great but when with friends i just find myself saying "What?" everytime someone says something.

i think its bad to ski with the big ipod cuz of the disk in it spins every few minuites and if you landed while it was spinning it could mess it up. but with a nano or whatever thats straight. it just pisses me off when some dude in all his poserness has his ear buds so loud that everyone on the slope and chairlift can hear whatever greenday crap happens to be coming out of them

yeah when im skiing by myself which isnt often i usually have it on, or when im taking a run threw the park i crank it up and turn it down really low when im wit my homies
